My fiist SAT test

I think I have to write my colorful composition in English so that improve my writing skills. Haha. After I read the blog of my friends, I think writing an English essay which is the best way of adjusting my writing mistakes.
Therefore, let me begin my wonderful essay.

Today was my first time to take SAT test. I was nervous when I was waiting outside of HILLCREST HIGH SCHOOL at JAMAICA. There were so many kids preparing to take test outside of school with admission ticket. By the way, many Asians were there. I stayed outside until 8:30 to get in the building. After double checking, I got my lucky room 406. At that time, I was still nervous until I seated in the third row and second seat in the room. I looked around the classroom, and then I found LESP is a good and rich school besides the area is smaller. I put gums one by one in my mouth until I felt relax. However, I understood I didn’t need to be nervous because taking an important exam can’t with a nervous mood. I remember I never felt nervous when I took the model of college entrance examination in China. Therefore, I became confident. Haha .
When I was taking the test, I totally don’t know what the reading part talk about. I almost gave up the English parts so that I can carefully do math sections. I got four sections in math. Someone just got three math sections. After the SAT test, I understand they won’t account one of math sections because that section was a teasing section to search students’ ability so that they will change in SAT test. Therefore, I was so happy because that math section was my worst part expect English sections. In addition, I suggested people who will take SAT test really pay attention the time. It was really hart to control the time. Don’t waste time on any part even your math is perfect.
I spent about three and forty-five minutes on the whole test . Totally, there were 10 sections. When I finished my tenth section, I think the feeling of taking SAT is better then I was taking English regents. Haha.
Moreover, my best friend also waited for me when the test finished at the outside of HILLCREST H.S. I was so glad when I left the building, and then saw my best friend was there. Also, thanks for my all friends gave me encouragement before I took SAT test. Haha.

Project内容----春节

说过了Project的大概内容，也要进一步介绍一下具体的内容了。我们小组一共4个成员，每个人负责project的一个节日。我负责的时介绍中国传统的春节。 下面就介绍一下春节具体的内容。

相传，中国古时候有一种叫"年"的怪兽，头长触角，凶猛异常。"年"长年深居海底，每到除夕才爬上岸，吞食牲畜伤害人命。
因此，每到除夕这天，村村寨寨的人们扶老携幼逃往深山，以躲避"年"兽的伤害。
这年除夕，桃花村的人们正扶老携幼上山避难，从村外来了个乞讨的老人，只见他手拄拐杖，臂搭袋囊，银须飘逸，目若朗星。
乡亲们有的封窗锁门，有的收拾行装，有的牵牛赶羊，到处人喊马嘶，一片匆忙恐慌景象。这时，谁还有心关照这位乞讨的老人。
只有村东头一位老婆婆给了老人些食物，并劝他快上山躲避"年"兽，那老人捋髯笑道："婆婆若让我在家呆一夜，我一定把"年"兽撵走。
老婆婆惊目细看，见他鹤发童颜、精神矍铄，气宇不凡。可她仍然继续劝说，乞讨老人笑而不语。婆婆无奈，只好撇下家，上山避难去了。
半夜时分，"年"兽闯进村。它发现村里气氛与往年不同：村东头老婆婆家，门贴大红纸，屋内烛火通明。"年"兽浑身一抖，怪叫了一声。
"年"朝婆婆家怒视片刻，随即狂叫着扑过去。将近门口时，院内突然传来"砰砰啪啪"的炸响声，"年"浑身战栗，再不敢往前凑了。
原来，"年"最怕红色、火光和炸响。这时，婆婆的家门大开，只见院内一位身披红袍的老人在哈哈大笑。"年"大惊失色，狼狈逃蹿了。
第二天是正月初一，避难回来的人们见村里安然无恙十分惊奇。这时，老婆婆才恍然大悟，赶忙向乡亲们述说了乞讨老人的许诺。
乡亲们一齐拥向老婆婆家，只见婆婆家门上贴着红纸，院里一堆未燃尽的竹子仍在"啪啪"炸响，屋内几根红腊烛还发着余光……
欣喜若狂的乡亲们为庆贺吉祥的来临，纷纷换新衣戴新帽，到亲友家道喜问好。这件事很快在周围村里传开了，人们都知道了驱赶"年"兽的办法。
从此每年除夕，家家贴红对联、燃放爆竹；户户烛火通明、守更待岁。初一一大早，还要走亲串友道喜问好。这风俗越传越广，成了中国民间最隆重的传统节日。

Project 介绍----节日

我们小组这个学期的整体作业是讨论中国传统的民间节日，说到节日，每个人都有一种期盼节日到来的感觉，不同的地区过的节日有各自的特色，中国有56个民族，每个民族都有各自的庆祝节日的方法，而这些都是我们同学所不太了解的文化知识。
节日，总体来讲都会有一个奇妙而引人深思的理由，为了这个传说中动人的故事，人们在节日里纷纷举国同庆共欢乐，就中国传统的节日来说，有春节，正月十五元宵节，清明节，重阳节，端午节，中秋节，七夕节等等，都是中国民间传统而重要的节日，再加上中国少数民族的节日，例如，彝族插花节，纳西族的火把节，傣族的泼水节，还有藏族的沐浴节，都是有种种美丽的传说而代代相传到如今，每当节日的到来，人们回味着节日的传说，欣赏着节日里特有的风光与美景，每一项都象征着中华人民对节日的热情和对传说中人物的纪念。正因为这些节日背后有美丽的传说和故事，让我们小组的同学对节日有非一般的好奇。
我们小组主要收集一些节日的资料和大家分享，并会作详细的分析，以简单易懂的形式展现给大家，同时也期盼着其他同学的作品出炉。呵呵。
